i pray for Africa
I pray for my NationI pray with a sincere passion,for love to be rekindled
And hatred left to dwindle
I pray for peace and orderliness
To calm this raging storm of chaos and unrest
I pray for unity
Amidst our diversity
I pray for an upsurge of progress
To submerge all forms of economic distress
I pray for liberation, justice and equity
And for the common man to be treated fairly
I pray for the spirit of integrity and accountability
To be instilled into those in positions of authority
I pray for patriotism
To be made a watchword by all her citizens
I pray for my Nation
With deep concern I make the intercession
For love of my homeland::i pray for mther Africa
I pray for my glorious motherland
